Manchester City’s explosive win: Three goals in four minutes, beat Ipswich Town 4-1

Manchester City recorded a 4-1 win over newly-appointed Ipswich Town in the Premier League on Saturday. At the Etihad Stadium, City scored three goals in less than four minutes, recovering from the initial setback. After a long wait of 22 years, Aipswich Town celebrated their return to the Premier League, but the joy turned to disappointment in just 193 seconds.

Manchester City star striker Erling Holland scored a hat-trick, while Kevin de Bruin scored a goal. With this win, City strengthened their moves towards a fifth consecutive league title, while Epswich is still scoreless.

The Szmodics, who played their first Premier League match after a £9 million transfer from Blackburn, in the seventh minute Sammy Szmodics penetrated Manchester City’s defence on Ben Johnson’s pass to give Epswich a surprising lead. Ederson, City’s goalkeeper, could not properly stop the shot from Szamodics and the ball went into the net.

However, Aipswich’s goal served to wake City up. Following this, Manchester City scored three goals within 191 seconds, starting from Erling Holland’s penalty in the 12th minute.

Kevin de Bruin took advantage of a mistake by Epswich goalkeeper Arinet Mouric to give City the lead. Following this, Holland scored his second goal, overtaking Murick on a de Bruine pass. In the 88th minute, Holland completed his hat-trick, hitting a powerful shot from outside the 18-yard box to give City a strong 4-1 lead.

The match proved to be a big challenge for Epswich, while Manchester City demonstrated their strengths and experience to show why they are Premier League champions. City did not let any shortcomings in his game and once again proved that he is a strong contender for the title this season as well.

The match proved to be a lesson for Aipswich coach Kieran McKena, who took an early lead but could not stand up to Manchester City’s aggressive play. After this defeat, Epswich will have to improve their performance, especially when they have to maintain their place in the Premier League.
