
The ambitious “Chief Minister Girl Sister Scheme” of the Maharashtra government is being launched today. The objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to girls and women of the state so that they can become self-reliant in their lives and meet education and other needs. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹1,500 per month will be given to eligible beneficiaries. Let’s know the important information related to this scheme:
Eligibility
The eligibility conditions under this scheme are as follows:
- Age Limit: The benefit of the scheme will be available only to girls and women between the ages of 18 and 30 years.
- Residence: The beneficiary must be a resident of the state of Maharashtra and must have a permanent residence certificate of the state.
- Income Limit: The benefit of this scheme will be available only to girls and women whose annual family income is less than ₹2.5 lakh.
- Educational qualification: To avail the benefit of the scheme, the beneficiary must have passed at least 10th standard.

- Financial Assistance: The financial assistance of ₹1,500 per month to the eligible beneficiaries will be transferred directly to their bank account.
- Education and Health: This financial assistance can be spent on the education and health of girls and women, thereby improving their standard of living.

Application process
The application process for this scheme is as follows:
- Online registration: The beneficiary has to go to the official website of the Maharashtra government and fill the online application form.
- Documents: At the time of application, the applicant has to submit documents like his Aadhaar card, residence certificate, educational certificate and income certificate.
- CHEK PROCESS: THE BENEFIT OF THE SCHEME WILL BE GIVEN TO THE ELIGIBLE BENEFICIARIES AFTER CHECKING THE APPLICATION FORM AND DOCUMENTS.
The scheme will be managed and monitored by the Women and Child Development Department of the Government of Maharashtra. The government will ensure that the benefits of the scheme reach the right beneficiaries and are not misused.
