Infinix Note 40X 5G launched in India: 5G powerhouse friendly to a budget

Infinix has expanded its note series with the launch of Note 40X 5G in India. This budget -friendly smartphone aims to present a compelling package of features including a large performance, powerful performance and a competent camera system.

Price and availability

Infinix Note 40X 5G comes in two variants:

 * 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage: Price of Rupee. 14,999

 * 12 GB RAM + 256 GB Storage: Price of Rupee. 15,999

However, there is an immediate discount of rupee. There are 1,500 available on SBI and HDFC Bank Credit and Debit Card, causing effective prices to Rs. 13,499 and Rs. 14,499 respectively.

The smartphone will be available to buy on Flipkart from August 9, 2024 and select the retail store. It comes in three color options: Palm Blue, Lime Green and Starlit Black.

Design and performance

Infinix Note 40x 5G is covered with a large and modern design with a large 6.78-inch full HD+ display. The display provides a lively color, good opposite and decent angle of viewing. It supports a high fresh rate of 120Hz for smooth scrolling and gaming experience. The top homes have a punch-hole cutout selfie camera.

Display

Under the hood, the Note 40X 5G is powered by a MediaTek Demistance 6300 processor, which is built on the 7Nm construction process. This chipset is capable of handling everyday tasks and light gaming easily. The device comes with RAM up to 12GB, ensuring smooth multitasking. The internal storage of 256GB can be further expanded through microSD card.

Camera

The triple camera setup on the rear includes 108MP primary sensor, 2MP depth sensor and a dedicated light sensor. The primary camera of 108MP captures wide images with good color breeding. The dedicated light sensor improves low-light photography. For selfie, there is an 8MP front-facing camera.

Battery and software

Maintaining the light is a huge 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Infinix claims that the battery can provide a full day of use on a charge. The smartphone runs on top with the Custom XOS 14 skin of Infinix on Android 14.
